The Greatest

In my opinion, this is the greatest TV show of them all. How its greatness could have been forgotten as much as it has been is absolutley beyond me.

I think you are correct. This was a seminal show -- probably the first "lawyer show" that wasn't really a detective program in disguise. L.A. Law introduced us to the staff meeting; administrative hearings; appellate courts; as well as almost all aspects of criminal and CIVIL litigation. It was an amazing program that, when it focused on the cases, was arguably the best show on television.

To be fair to its critics, however, I can't remember any program that was this good that (almost abruptly) became so bad! Although I continued to watch it until the end, it was hit-and-miss at best, and sometimes just plain terrible, after the fifth season.

I totally agree with you. This is the greatest TV show of all times. I have never loved any other TV show.

Roseanne got really bad really fast.

Greatest is a tall bar, but the show is among the best legal dramas out there. The show was extremely popular in its time, elevating Harry Hamlin and Jimmy Smits to A-listers. But the show has fell into oblivion somehow. A streaming service needs to pick it up
