what happened at the end with simone and eric?

i remember the ending vaguely...was there a dance or something???

anyway what happened with simone and eric? i've always loved them together! <3

For those who never saw the ending of the series.

OK - The ending showcased the IHP class graduation ceremony. As the series ended, each student went up on stage to receive their diplomas, and their real life names appeared on screen. Tannis Vallely (Janice, who was written off by Season 4) came back to watch her former classmates graduate. "Fillmore High School" was demolished off-screen.

I am not sure, but I remember that Eric and Simone got close at the end, but don't know if they got together after that or if they went their separate ways.

I never got to see the graduation episode, but did you just say that they did end up back together by graduation?

Simone is my favoutite character. I loved the Eric and Simone storyline with them, and I think despite Eric getting interested in Viki, that it always was Simone that he had the bond with.

According to what I remember, they were talking about marriage or living together or something. I think they decided to go their separate ways.

They were thinking about getting married, but decided to wait and see what happens after 4 years

I always thought I never got to see the final episode, but now I remember the episode (sorta).
I remember Simone and Eric dancing and talking about marriage. Also remember (correct me if I'm wrong) that since they wanted to go to different places (Simone wanted to go to Sarah Lawrence and I don't remember about Eric) Eric said that Simone should go to college first and that he would go with her because he could write anywhere. But in the end they realise it was best to each go it's separate way (or something like that)

Eric went to Univ. of Iowa. They had a good writing program there.

I thought they broke up during season 4? Simone dated Alex, didn't she? Or where Simone and Eric more on and off?

As I recall (with a little help from an ep. guide with three sentence summaries of the eps.), during season four or five Alex, Vicki, Simone, and Eric were in a bit of a love square.

Eric was physically attracted to Vicki, who was attracted to both Eric and Alex, Alex was attracted to both Vicki and Simone, Simone liked that Alex was interested, but still had feelings for Eric, who also still had feelings for her. I actually think the four of them went back and forth between one another for at least a season or half a season.

I read there was a whole episode about this in early season four or five.

At the end they decided to go their seperete ways

they were going to end up at opposite ends of the states and the long distance thing would not have worked out
