So I hear a lot of fans of the show dislike Buzzwang the robot, considering him to be the show's equivalent of Scrappy-Doo from "Scooby-Doo" or Snarf from "Thundercats", I was just wondering how everyone else around here felt.
I agree Buzzwang wasn't the show's best character (apparently even some of the writers disliked him) but I don't know if I'd lump him in with the likes of Snarf.
He's pure comedy relief. He's more like Slimer from The Real Ghostbusters.

Buzzwang was your typical kid-friendly comic relief character, but I don't think he hurt the show much because he didn't appear in most of the episodes. Scrappy-Doo from Scooby-Doo, Snarf from Thundercats, Orko from He-Man, Godzooky from Godzilla, T-Bob from M.A.S.K., and Gremlin from the second season of Flash Gordon were more annoying because they were featured more prominently in their respective series.
