When you watch something like that now, it looks pretty disgraceful. But at the time, that was completely normal. Sad to say but I probably would've reacted the same way at the time. But certainly not now. Myself or anybody I ever knew around that time never even came in contact or had seen a gay person other than on tv so it would've been completely foreign to any of us. But like anything else, opinions change and the world evolves

It was a typical 80s reaction, homosexuality wasn't as accepted back then as it is now. Thank God times have changed!

It's pretty normal for the time. He actually took it pretty well compared to how others would have taken it.

I like the picture of the brother on Degrassi's wall. He looked about 30 years old in JUNIOR HIGH as well.

I didn't buy that Snake's brother was a former basketball player. The way he shot the ball was just amateurish. It was a chuck.
