Im Confused about the whole David working for Ray Luca storyline. I was watching an episode on DVD the other day and i could have sworn that Ray told Paulie that David couldnt use evidence against them while he worked for them. My question is then, why, if the attorney / client privelage means he cant tell anyone what Ray Luca was doing, why work undercover in the first place? it doesnt make much sense to me.

Just because David couldn't "TESTIFY" against Luca doesn't mean he couldn't provide Torello and his men 'tips' that would lead to drug busts and Luca eventually being brought down.

That's how I took it anyway...

I assume that they felt that if they can't put Luca away, then they could crumble or disrupt his empire building scheme.
