For the first time you can get one DVD set with the pilot telefilm and both seasons of the Michael Mann-produced series. This special collection includes the two hour pilot and both seasons from the cult classic television series.

Between 2000 and 2005, individual DVDs of the pilot telefilm, the first season and the second (and final) season where released by Anchor Bay, but those titles are all out of print. Now Image Entertainment has announced that on November 15th they will release Crime Story - The Complete Series: 25th Anniversary Edition, bringing everything together for the first time in one package. Pricing is just $29.98!

As long as we're wishing, imagine what it would be like if it were given the full and complete BluRay treatment....

I just checked on Amazon, and it's only $22 for the pre-order.

It's down to $19.99 with free shipping for supersaver or prime orders. That's a buck or so cheaper than walmart total price.

If you pre-order on Amazon, it automatically drops the price if it goes down, if it goes up (not likely), you still get the lower price.
