Crime story vs. Sopranos or Wire

Updating my post a few years later...

To me, The Wire is the #1 show of all-time.

That said, I far prefer Crime Story to The Sopranos. I like both shows, but think Crime Story is the better of the two.

If only it had lasted longer...

Wait a minute... who am I here?

All three are good. I prefer Sopranos and Wire above Crime Story. However, the title Crime Story says it all. The focus is on crime. It's plot driven. To me the Sopranos and Wire, while taking place in a "crime" setting are more character driven.
