Casino copies Crime Story

I thought it was kind of funny in episode 20 that they used a lot of the story elements that ended up in the movie Casino. Once they take over the casino Diceman has a tv show like Scorcese's character and Luka starts messing around with his wife like Joe Pesci's character which clearly shows how much of that movie was a true story.

The story of the skimming was featured in the book Casino by Nicholas Pileggi.

They are both based on the same real life characters. Casino is a true story. Crime Story was loosely based on the same characters. So Andrew Clay's character was based on the same guy as Deniro's , and Tony Denison's character was based on Joe Pesci's.
