Is there a missing episode not on the DVD?

Can someone help me here? I'm totally perplexed.

In 1987-88, I was studying abroad, and over winter break I went to visit my father who was living in Kuwait at the time. Crime Story was being shown on TV there at the time, so during the week and a half I was there I caught two episodes of it. I loved it and all these years I remembered it and had been planning on hopefully one day seeing the whole series. So finally, in 2014, I bought the DVD set and watched the entire thing from beginning to end.

I remembered some things about the two episodes I saw back in 1987/88, but one of them did not appear to be on the DVD!!
The first episode I saw and remember was the Kingdom of Money. I remember the fat loan shark trying to punch Torello in the strip club, and Clemmons holding his arm back, and them chasing the guy down the street.

But what I remember from the second episode I did not see anywhere on the DVD set. Here's what I remember: there was a group of armed robbers who were holding up banks. Torello and his team were finally able to get a scoop on where their next heist would be. So they were at the bank or got to it just as it was being robbed. Then, at the end of the episode, as the robbers were pulling away in a van, Torello shot into the open side door of the van and wounded or maybe killed one of the robbers. The wounded guy's robber friend had a very dismayed look on his face as he thought he had gotten away but at the very last minute he lost one of his guys via a hail of bullets into his van. Then, I believe, the episode ended, with the implication that the team had made inroads into stopping this armed robbery crew, and would perhaps finish them off the next episode.

But there was no episode like this on the DVD. The closest thing is the "Armed Robbery" episode, but in that one the events didn't happen as I remember them. I won't forget the look on the face of the guy looking down at his buddy who had been shot just as they were getting away.
What is going on here? Did I miss an episode while watching the DVD? Is there a missing episode? Was I watching some other TV show and didn't realize it??? Am I totally misremembering "Armed Robbery"?
