In only the second episode of the season (2 of 22)"Last Train to Clarksville" the debut single by The Monkees, released August 16, 1966 is playing at the very beginning.Episode 19 Congressional Hearings are suspended because of The Gulf of Tonkin Incident,which took place on August 2 & 4, 1964.Must be some sort of time portal in Vegas
shareIt seems to be part of the soundtrack and not something that is playing on the radio because the song continues as they cut to the getaway driver. I wouldn't call this an anachronism in this case.
I have the 25th Anniversary set, someone had mentioned that some of the songs may have changed from the original airing and earlier versions because the rights to some of them would have been prohibitively expensive to use. I wish I had kept my original VHS ep version to check things like this, but I tossed all my VHS's a long time ago.
