I have just been on the BBC's website and found out about the sad news Gilly has died. Sorry i'm no good at posting links but it is quite easy to find through Google.

I am very saddend and shocked and upsett about this news and seeing as this is the only forum dedicated to Bread I know of on the internet - I just felt I had to post this sad news to tell/let other Bread fans know.

Yeah just seen that she was aged 50, died from a Heart Attack, blimey.

Apparently she died 2 days ago, as somebody posted it on her personal IMDB page.

It's terrible news, I can not believe Gilly has died. Gilly was great in her role as Aveline.

Very shocking that she has died, especially as she played one of the (adult) "children" in Bread...!! I was just a child too at that time, and it makes me feel like one of my schoolfriends has died..!!! :-(
