He was arogant.

He used to be one of my least favourites but he grew on me. There were some things about him that were really annoying though, like his pathetic whining and leaping up to his feet to yell all the damn time, and being really inconsistent with Julie- saying he loved her then going back home then going back to her then divorcing her then deciding he didn't want to be divorced from her and trying to get her back yet again...
That said, I think Shifty was worse. I just hate that we were supposed to feel sorry for him because he'd had a messed up childhood, and yet he refused to change, ever, or accept he was in the wrong and he'd shift (excuse the pun) the blame for whatever misdeed he did onto someone or something else ( I think once it was pudding he ate at school that took the rap for his compulsive stealing) and generally take advantage of everyone.
