Truly underrated show! One of the best of the 80s!
This show is LIGHT YEARS better than anything on today! It never got the credit it deserved back then. Sherman was the star and did a great job in the lead after the Jeffersons. He played a great dual role as a scheming and greedy atty along with being a church deacon! The storyline of Thelma pining for the Rev lasted for years and years! Rolly was a hilarious old man who had great comeback insults at the Deacon.
Even the guest stars were good. Practically every episode of this series was great! Sad to see it go because it could've lasted 1 or 2 more seasons.
