Ugh, she made my skin crawl whenever she cried out, "DADDDDDDDDY!" Even though Thelma had her moments where she came across as a strong woman, more often than not, she was very stunted in her maturity level. She definitely didn't have the sophistication that one would expect of a reverend's wife -- even at 35 when they finally got married!
