ALF is the weirdest looking "alien" ever

I saw this show for the first time the other day on the Hub Channel. I like the show, but the thing that bugs me is why did they make ALF look like a muppet/stuffed animal if he's supposed to be an alien? He looks nothing like an alien. He looks more like a cross between a bear and an armadillo.

You remind me of a white crayon... totally useless.

No, no, no. Robin Williams is still the weirdest looking alien. ALF has less hair than Williams.
