Just watched it because I was bored enough. Same old CGI The Ring knockoff and dragging away scenes. A sequel is in the works, thrill thrill.
Witchboard, imo, is the best movie about Ouija ever made and it was released in the 80's, of course.
Perfect atmosphere, suspense, storyline, and it's cgi-free. Who could ask for more?

Ouija 2014 - 3/10

Yeah Ouija was terrible and Witchboard is way better even if it is cheesy at points. At least it is never boring like Ouija.

Exactly. I agree.
Even though 'Witchboard' had an occasional dippy moment (and a big continuity error), it was 100% better than the terrible & overhyped 'Ouija'.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?

I wouldn't even compare the two.

Movies with ouija boards have always had a creepy fun tone to them. 'Ouija' missed the ball completely.

Totally agree. I first saw "Witchboard" at 6 back in 1987 and it terrified me. Even today, it still gives me chills here and there, like Linda's creepy dream in the hospital. Lol "Ouija" was laughable.
