its been 30 years since White Nights came out in limited releases and it starred former russian ballet dance and actor Mikhail Baryshnikov and the late Gregory Hines.

shareSolid soundtrack, good performances, and it was a nice vehicle for audiences who may not have had any interest in ballet or tap, may have never seen any performances at all, let alone in a "serious" film, to be introduced in way that would keep their attention. I found it believable overall, as a movie, though not sure an individual's worth such as the character Hines played, might have been traded between governments at that time. It remains always a rewatchable, enjoyable film.
