Book vs film

Which do you prefer?

I prefer the former on the whole. The musical interludes in the film (aside from the brilliant closing song) get on my nerves, the poor submarine/plane footage fails to capture the brutally eerie drawings, and frankly, the final stages of radiation poisoning were much more chilling in the book.


Still...a great film, and its exclusive firestorm scene is terrifying!
