Did she kill them?

From the movie: "Are they dead?" "No, theyre just... resting." Lisa has used her powers to freeze them in time. They, like Gary's parents, wont remember a thing.

Maybe she puts them in a fantasy where they aren't aware. Like they are together, driving in the country or sleeping

Well they weren't aging. So they were pretty happy. That Rex Harrison hat was a classic.
