Resident Evil is a video game by Capcom, and they made a film based upon the game. I'm a big fan of the games, so I went to see the film of Resident Evil, and it was *beep* They changed the whole thing around, and instead of basing it on a sortof SWAT team in a haunted house thingy with government cover-ups and backstabbers, they turned it into... A film about a virus that alters the physical state of humans, making them eat human flesh. This virus is released into the lab area and the area is sealed off.

I've not actually seen Warning Sign, but it sounds like a good film, a film that Paul Anderson ripped off and made *beep*

When I watched this film, it actually did remind me of Resident Evil the game. I saw it before the RE movie came out. Warning Sign is a decent movie.

Several of the opening office scenes of Anderon's RE reminded me a lot of Warning Sign. It was not surprisingly more effective as a zombie movie than RE!

Nice to see a post that was written at the time the first Resident Evil movie came out. Now, more the 10 years and a few more Resident Evil movies later, I can say that Warning Sign probably was an inspiration for Resident Evil (a sealed off laboratory gets infected turning employees into crazy lunatics). And also for 28 Days Later (people get infected with pure rage).
