They were heading to see Loundens grandfather. They stopped to get gas cause the truck needs GAS to get where he's going. Ok and secondly they probably stopped to rest cause they were tired or maybe she was horny asH ell and wanted to get laid. As far as driving straight back,they had a full tank of gas.
