Insanely long hair!!

This is a great movie (gotta love the 80's), and I love the crippled look Kim Richards was sporting for her hair....but how freaking long was it!??! I mean, it came down past her ass!! That's crazy! But it looked ubersexy and cool on her...not sure if anyone could pull that off now though!

Anyway, great film, and Kim Richards and James Spader (along with the rest of the cast) were amazing. Love James Spader - so damn sexy! xx

I don't know what crimped hair is, but Kim Richards really looked hot with that long blonde hair of hers in this movie.

Crimped hair was very popular in the 1980's. There was a special crimping iron that was used to acheive the effect.

Kim Richards, in this movie, is probably an example of the most perfect long hair I have ever seen. Other examples are her appearance on CHiPS and Dukes of Hazzard.

The only person now who comes close to this level of beauty, and even supercedes it, is Chloe Agnew. Here is a picture....

I-yi-yi-yi-yi, everytime I look at the cover art, I just can NOT believe how she wore her hair that long. I couldn't stand it when mine got down to my waist, never mind past my ass. But really, that long hair crazy as it sounds is how everytime I see her in that picture I recognize her as the same girl from Escape to Witch Mountain, if she wore her hair short in this movie, I probably wouldn't see it as much.

My girl in the 1970's had insanely long hair too! It was really great to get wrapped up in. Of course you have to have the perfect body to go with the hair, and she did. Women now days, oh well....

Crystal Gayle was another woman to sport long hair. It was down to her ankles.

Was that all hers? Or were they extensions?

I think it was real.

Definitely was one of the key things to her appeal. I love this movie as flawed as it is.
