Warriors is on a whole other level I think. Classic to this day.
"That was then, this is now" also "Reckless" with a Daryl hannah and a young Mickey Rourke. "Taps" is an intense show even now when I watch it. I also have to admit I like "Toy Soldiers."
"Reckless" is an overlooked gem. However, it stars Aidan Quinn, not Mickey Rourke. Your confusion probably stems from the fact that Quinn plays a character named John Rourke. This was Quinn's first film and he is really terrific in it (and pretty hot, too). Sadly, it seems never to have been released on DVD, but I did track down a used VHS at Amazon. How can you resist dialog like this:
Randy Daniels (Adam Baldwin): What happened to you, Rourke? You used to be normal.
John Rourke: I grew out of it.
That Was Then, This is Now...is a very underrated flick. I have always like Craig Shaeffer.
