Who watches these kinds of movies for their directing? That's like watching a movie like Screwballs or The Beach Girls and complaining about the plots.

I did not mind. I thought the movie was great and it is a classic because you do not see movies like this being made today. If they did make a film like this it would be watered down for the teenage crowd and that would not be enjoyable at all to watch.
