Not sure why there is no Goofs section for this one but the shower scene in Tomboy has a very blatant goof and i'm really surprised at the editing. When Seville and Tommy are talking about Carlos, Seville has shampoo all in her hair and on her face. Carlos walks up and hands her his towel and she wipes the shampoo off her face with it. Then as they are talking to each other the camera angle switches back and forth a few times from frontal to rear shots of her. In the rear shots she has no shampoo at all but in the frontal shots it's all still there!

Also, i gather that the concept of this scene was their needing a way for Carlos to surprise her but it just seems unrealistic for her not to just wash the soap completely out of her hair and off her face to begin with. She could have then just opened her eyes and he could be standing there! There's a separate thread here about directing and i mostly agree. And you don't necessarily watch movies like these for their realism or even the acting but come on, they could have thought this scene through a little better.

The dirty bike scene is horrible too. They have 2 stroke sounds coming out of XR Honda 4 strokes. The only legit soubd is the initial start up when she leave to water after wiping out, and then they mix it back to a 2 stroke sound.

Also, the film is reversed in several points. The XR on the seat is backwards and the sprocket and kick stand are on the wrong side.
Also, you can see the back of a white truck filming them in the close up shots as they are riding the bikes, look in the visors.

She also puts all her clothing in the toolbag on the rear fender and there is no way it can stay in place because it's too much to zip the bag shut.

When Tomi rides the wheelie past Randy, he looks over and it Zions to a close up of his throttle hand. He gives it full throttle but the sound effect is that of the throttle being closed.

I'm not going to say this is an actual goof, but I'm wondering if they had 2 female riders. One looked like they knew how to ride and the other looked dangerously close to flying off the bike due to a lack of experience. In the slow motion scene when they are going thru 3 small rolling hills, you can see the girl doesn't understand that you have to unload the suspension by standing up. If you don't do this, the rebounding suspension will kick up and throw your butt of the seat making you lose control as seen in that part, especially the last hill where her feet are almost a foot of the pegs.

Her car, the concept of it, where to start on it, was a Corvair.

Watchin the old man with a pipe wrench on the PVC pipe in the car was priceless.
