TOMBOY Was Definitely Released Before 1985
I was in college when I saw this and I left Pittsburgh at the end of 1984 and I'm 100% positive I saw it in Pittsburgh. I'd lay good money on this.
shareI can't say for sure when it came out but Betsy Russell didn't get the role until after her performance in Private School which came out in July 1983. The earliest they could have been filming was late 1983 - early 1984. Assume a year to complete and 1985 is not unreasonable.
