Max Waxman= greatest character ever

He made the movie. Great actor, PERFECT character.

Without Max that movie could not have been done.

The character is in another one or two of the authors novels

Interesting; how would rate Petrovich's other novels?

Edit: sorry, 'Petievich'

QUALITY OF THE INFORMANT is probably what they were after in LIVE AND DIE IN LA (the movie) since the novel was not very much like the movie and more like a Miami Vice (TV SERIES) chaser which was popular at the time.

LIVE AND DIE IN LA was a stand alone novel only connected to his recurring series by the Max Waxman character.

They turned the novella THE MONEY MEN into a movie with Wesley Snipes and Dennis Hopper but I forget the name. It was BURNING POINT or something like that

Generally I liked his novels that revolved around the secret service agent, and I did a little time for counterfeiting myself (true story).
