I have an 18 yearold VHS, recorded off HBO, of this movie. It's wearing thin and I'd love to have a DVD of it. Has anyone heard if this movie will EVER be released on DVD? At this point I'd even settle for it to be released on VHS.
It was available on VHS. You can still pick it up occasionally on E-Bay. I wish it were out on DVD, too. You would think with all the movies they put out on DVD this could make it. Especially since the VHS usually sells for quite a bit.
shareI have an original copy of this movie on VHS. I love this movie! I'm seriously thinking of having it digitally-remastered and transferred to DVD. It would probably cost me an arm and a leg, but it would be worth it to have this movie restored and copied to digital media.

I got a copy off eBay, from a guy in Canada. They copied the movie from VHS to DVD but obviously the tape wasn't in great condition. The picture quality sucks for DVD.
Any way to get the songs recorded?
That copy from Canada is from VHS, but it's come from a master disk as the content on the DVD is different to the VHS copy. So in fact, it's gone from mastercopy to vhs to dvd
The sound is good, but picture quality not bad
Used a Mpeg editor to cut the songs from the movie, and make seperate musicvideos of them all

This movie DEFINITELY needs a DVD release. It's owned by MGM, too - so it's not like they couldn't put it out; especially with some of the other crap movies I've seen them release.

shareI found the VHS for $1.50 about 6 years ago. No cover box though. One of my favs.
Then today I nearly crapped my pants, as I was at a flea market and found another copy for $2. It was an ex rental and the original cardboard box was cut (and put in a plastic one) but I didn't care.
MGM has a lot of good films sitting in the dust. I don't know what those idiots are waiting for. There are obviously enough fans to warrant a DVD release. A lot more obscure titles are seeing the light of day, so if they are anticipated to sell, so will this one.
Does anyone have this movie and would be willing to copy it onto DVD? There's a VHS and a DVD on eBay, and judging by feedback, they're both in pretty bad condition (the guy who is selling the bootlegged video calls everyone who accuses him of piracy "A/H" as his feedback response. Classy.) Please let me know. Thanks!

I f##ked up and purchased the DVD on ebay several months ago, very marginal quality!!!!!! This is a very good movie and I have an original VHS copy but no VHS player anymore. lol As I was saying, was disappointed with the DVD quality.

The quality is alright but not what a normal dvd would be but i was just afetr preserving having the movie for life.
