In my language the name of this book was translated as "we were like brothers". For some reason the movie title stayed "that was then, this is now". In this
case I actually prefer the translation "we were like brothers". Is it just because I heard it first, or do you like it too?

Wait! Does this also mean putting out doesn't get you love?

I really liked this when I first saw it. Maybe it's not a life-changer now, but at the time it meant a lot to me. Just seems like a paradigm of life. Never know when people you like are gonna go South, and you have no control.
