um hello, none of us who watched the cartoon have the faintest idea who the music people in the first place are.
The only reason why this even got made into a cartoon was Fox staring in the live action move...and he's not demanding a cut of the cartoon.
Neither is the actor who DID play the dad in both the live action and the cartoon (and actually COULD have a reason re collecting on royalties).
Although i seriously doubt this cartoon made any 'money' during it's run lol.
