Why wasn't Thorn at the final basketball game?

I could never understand why Thorn never showed up to the final basketball game

reply

reply

I thought maybe because he was embarrassed by what happened to him after being confronted by Scott's father that he didn't want to be seen at the basketball game

reply

I agree. after the dance, I don't think the principal's in it anymore.

Or he might have quit his job due to his humiliation

BUMP

reply

What real humiliation? When Harold (Scott's dad) confronted Russell Thorne it was in a empty hallway. No students were around to laugh at him.

reply

He still had to change his pants.

reply

Maybe he was place on an administration leave.

reply

I’ve got the answer, ready ... it wasn’t in the script!

reply

What wasn't in the script?

reply

I do wish we would've gotten to see what happens to Thorn afterwards.

reply

Why, what’s the point of that?

reply

Maybe Thorne would've redeemed himself and realize the error of his ways.

reply

Nah, I think it was fine the way we left him - with him pissing himself after being growled at lol. Just imagine the humiliation of that.

reply

I thought it was hilarious seeing the principal pissing his pants after getting growled at, it would've been funnier having the students witness that happening!

reply

Principals don’t attend every sports event at schools.

reply

Is that right? I know he was at many of the basketball games prior to his accident.

reply

Yeah, but it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for him to miss a few, either.

reply

I guess not, I do wonder how he would feel about Mick constantly pushing Scott on purpose at the game? I'm glad the refs didn't let Mick get away with purposely fouling Scott.
