The Checkered Shirt

Something I've always noticed about Teen Wolf and the only thing that bugs me: In the beginning of the movie, after the game, Scott goes to see the coach to tell him he's thinking about quitting the team. He is wearing a checkered shirt and dark blue jeans but when he leaves to meet Boof outside the school, the shirt is blue and he's wearing brown jeans. Continuity error? In my opinion, the scene where he talks to Coach Finstock about quitting was meant to go after he finds out he's a werewolf. The morning after (while drinking cocoa with his Dad) he has the same checkered shirt on and then rushes off to school. It's only logical that having found out about his ability, he would THEN go to the coach and mention quitting the team. Perhaps he went to see the coach at lunch time which explains the KFC bucket on his desk and afterwards, at the locker, Boof mentions how she missed him at lunch. Just saying, the checkered shirt made me think.

Wow.

I think you're right.

I have watched this film hundreds of times... and I never, ever noticed this. But you're absolutely right.

Incredible.

There are errors like this in two other 1985 movies: Private Resort and A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2. I wonder if you see these kind of editing goofs anymore?
