Wasn't there supposed to be a Teen Wolf 3?

I could have sworn that during the time they aired this on t.v. (thinking around 87-88') and Teen Wolf Two just came out, there was a brief promo for Teen Wolf 3.

It is one of those lost 80s things that haunts me to this day, but, I swear I remember seeing a Teen Wolf 3 logo, and, the big point of it was that it had Scott AND his cousin from Part 2 in it.

Not trolling, perhaps my mind has just gone haywire and formed this vision of Teen Wolf 3 out of mid-air!

Thank God there wasn't; Fox's movie career would've been finished based on this film alone (luckily he had BTTF in the can), and the sequel killed Jason Bateman's career for decades. A third movie would've been a death sentence for whatever hapless young actor landed it.
