Considered Opinion

For me the most likable character (I didn't see) was the previous husband, who when Patsy announced to him she was off with a new guy, said (something like), "Well honey, if that's your considered opinion..." I like Patsy as a singer a whole lot, and Jessica as a screen star a whole lot, but for me this didn't come off and I ended up skipping through it on Youtube. It turned out to be a stinkin' Hollywood love story, with Ed Harris having so, so, many scenes. They could have actually made a film about Patsy Cline and her trials through her career -- as Susan Hayward and Doris Day did in good biopics all through the Fifties. But no, they had to stink it up.
