Does anyone know where the restaurant is located? I could imagine either Tampa or St. Petersburg? Name?

shareWell, there were two restaurants in the film. You must be talking about the upscale one where the Chester family wasn't able to sit down. I looked up the Lobster Pot and it looks more like an upscale restaurant. Does anyone know where Scully's restaurant was at. Now thats a tough one. Has to be somewhere in the surrounding area of Redington Shores. Not sure exactly where.

shareWell, I visited 'The Lobster Pot' restaurant the other day. The manager said it was used as a location for the movie but I just don't believe it.
In the movie there is a couple of steps up into the dining area, at 'The Lobster Pot' it is all flat.
In the movie they show the exterrior to have no windows. Well the side of this restaurant is full of windows. The ceiling in the movie are panels of some kind and at the restaurant is stucco ceiling.
Anyone have an idea what restaurant was used for the movie?
