Newspaper article about location filming

St. Petersburg newspaper: http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=950&dat=19850808&id=qcta AAAAIBAJ&sjid=b1kDAAAAIBAJ&pg=5814,1843429

There's other time-capsule stuff in the newspaper itself.

Thanks for the info...
I've been trying to locate the 'main' summer rental home that most of the film was shot. but..
Narrowed it down to a few places on Gulf Blvd.(160th Ave/Gulf Blvd). but think it has been probably demolished.. .. My guess is that most homes were built in the 50's.. and since the movie.. were bought out by contractor, demolished and new more luxury homes built.. If you look at 'Bing: aerial photos'.. you tend to see somewhat similar designs and generally new conditions of most of the homes... more like the '415 beach lane' home and next door neighbor.. upscale.. whereas the 'Chester' house were lower cost middle-class beachs.. homes.
To bad, i prefer the rustic look not the lego versions.. but
Any further info/help on location would be appreciated.

On Google Earth, you can see the house that is right across Gulf Blvd. from the beach house @25:12, on the 159th Ave.

The yellowish house with green trim, #15812 Gulf Blvd., is the house next to them, which can be seen out the window in the breakfast scene, around 24:00 in the movie.
So the Chesters' house would be the pink one just north. I'm basing this on the lineup with the house across Gulf Blvd. with the telephone pole and the south side of their beach house, as seen @ 25:12.
Google Earth location: 27°48'31.11" N 82°48'42.49" W

Anyway, it's one of the two houses across from aforementioned house on the corner of 159th Ave.
