Which Version of "The Stuff" should I purchase?

Checking out eBay I found 2 okay 3 version's of this movie (I'll get to the 3rd one later). The first was released all the back in 200 while a later version was released in 2011. I was wondering if there a re are any discernible differences between these 2 Region#1 releases? Cover wise the the earlier release has blue stuff ouzing out of the fellow while the later one has green stuff LOL (I'm not making this up). Lastly there's a Region#4 release from Australia that has the most tasteful cover of all but you you can't play this unless you have a non region playing DVD player. So any idea which way to go here via the two "Stuff"Region#1 releases? Thanks in advance!
