What Part Of Brooklyn???

What part of Brooklyn was the Hargrove Street homeless shelter located??? I have maps of all five boroughs of New York City, and the street index on my Brooklyn map reveals no Hargrove Street. Also, the Brooklyn scenes in Stone Pillow looked more like the South Bronx. In the scene just before Florabelle wakes up in the abandoned tenement, there is a brief street scene with a (elevated) train passing in the distance. Would this in fact be the Bronx rather than Brooklyn? I know many of New York's subway lines run elevated in both Brooklyn and the Bronx, but the elevated lines in the Bronx seem to go through more run-down areas (like the scene in the movie) than they do in Brooklyn.
