hey i just wanna know is this movie good entertaing..cum im a huge lucy fan and knoe this aint a comedy...how sad is it?

A little dated and 80s but a good movie. Well worth renting from NetFlix.

Robert, the movie is realistic, and it does have a happy ending.

I watched it back when it aired and thought it was good, but I recall it was strangely panned by critics.

As recognizable as Lucy is she really created a character in this film. Daphne Zuniga's character on the other hand is a whiny cry baby for being a social worker. The script should've framed Flora's story better and made Carrie less of an annoyance. Watch it for Lucy's performance.

When I saw this back in '85 I was actually impressed with Lucy's performance. She was definitely out of her comedy comfort zone and she knocked it out of the park.

I realize she was known as the Queen of Comedy, but she could also do drama at the same level of talent she showed for comedy. It's too bad she didn't do more serious roles.

Jesus is the Son of God and my Lord and savior. Pretty cool.
