What's That Song?

In the episode "Less Than The Eye Can See" (the one about the weaponized smallpox) there is a song that Ray is listening to while he's waiting to find out if he's been infected. Who performs that song and where can I find it?

Actually, Ted Post was a very successful TV director. Mike Post is the man who wrote the score and main title theme for this series. He did not, however, write the original songs. That was done by long-time Post collaborator Stephen Geyer, who also wrote original songs for "The Greatest American Hero" (another show by producer Stephen J. Cannell on which Mike Post did the score). Geyer actually wrote a number of great songs for this series.

If Netflix holds up the bargain of "short wait," I can probably ID the song for you.

"We sleep safe in our beds because rugged men . . . " George Orwell.

Now netflix is saying "long wait." Sheesh. In the meantime, have you identified the song?

reply

No, I never did.
