Generic "sci-fi"

When you ask for a sci fi movie at the video store(er, back then), with no criteria, you get this movie.

I was wondering if the audio was off-sync, but one reviewer said it was dubbed. And some scenes were cut. I noticed some shoddy editing where one character dies, but we don't see it at all, but the aftermath.

Yeah, it's bland, but worth watching if you like Outland or something.
