Unfortunately no it is not on DVD yet...I guess it's not popular enough to warrant that kind of release. However it is on videotape and for an available price at Amazon. But I wish they would bring it out on DVD, I'll bet if the truth were told there are a lot of people who do the love the movie and we deserve better than what we have.

Do you know if they play this on tv at all? I keep hearing good things about it.

I'd catch a grenade for ya, throw my hand on a blade for ya

I wish it would come out on DVD too...but not because I thought it was good. It's because it's one of those so-bad-it's-funny movies. And old fat Charles Durning Vs Street Punks? How can that NOT be funny?

One of the funniest scenes is when this punk tries to steal donuts from the little restaurant in town. The owner/chef goes to the back room for something, asking Charles Durning to watch the restaurant. So he's the only one sitting at a table in the place when the punk comes in. The punk gets tired of waiting for food, so he starts taking some of the donuts sitting near the register. Charles Durning gets mad and tells him to put them back. Then the punk gets furious, pulls out a switchblade, and starts yelling at him: "Well who are you, fat man!? Are these yours? Well why don't you try to take them from me, huh? Take the donuts from me!"

All the while Charles Durning is sitting at the table with a smug smile on his face, and he starts conceiling one of the forks near his plate hahaha! Like his plan is to attack the guy with a fork! Too bad he doesn't get the chance in the movie, but either way that scene is just hilarious.
