Were You A Fan Of USA UP ALL NIGHT? If You Were Then Needing Your Help!

Man when I go to some of these boards here and hearing people talk about the shows that USA Network use to have at one time I am like! Man! I miss the programming that they use to show and have on there!

I am very much wanting to see this movie after reading some of the threads! It sounds like my kind of movies and I do not remember seeing it on USA UP ALL NIGHT though!

I miss the great hosts that they had for this show! First there was Caroline Schlitt who hosted USA UP ALL NIGHT on Friday nights and when she left to get married and leave Hollywood they had a beautiful blond replace her named Rhonda Shear! She was very hot and beautiful to watch on Friday nights along with the movies as well! On Saturday nights there was Gilbert Gottfried!

Those days were great and very fond memories to me! That is why I am here to let everyone know about the website a friend and I created that is dedicated to USA UP ALL NIGHT and the fans of the show as well! This is not just for the fans of USA UP ALL NIGHT but for everyone because I know there are people out there who have never heard of USA UP ALL NIGHT, seen it before, or are just too young to remember this great show!

You can find the website on my signature, wikipedia.com, or at MySpace where I have created a forum on USA UP ALL NIGHT and placed the website there as well. Take the time to explore the website and watch the video clips of USA UP ALL NIGHT back when USA Network use to show this on Friday and Saturday nights! While you are there take the time and sign the petition to help get this great show back on the weekends once again!

We need your help to improve the programming that they have on USA Network now on Friday and Saturday nights! Let your family and friends know about this website for them to sign! Even if they do not know what USA UP ALL NIGHT is all about but loved movies like what USA UP ALL NIGHT use to show then I know they would love USA UP ALL NIGHT!

Thanks again!

Rob

Well I dnt remember USA Up All Night. What year was this shown? Was it similar to Svengoolies?
I wish I could have enjoyed these things like this. I just absoutely love 80's horror and slasher films. I'm 17 so I was born in 1991, so I didn't get to go to the theater and see these films like many of adults. Most movies that I have on my "to watch" list are very hard to find now days.
I ask my mom all the time has she seen certain horror films from the 80's and she's like no! I dnt understand how can you be around all the greatness and not take advantage!!! Well there's a reason why she didn't see those films, but that's another story.
I just want to say that I'm really jealous of you adults sometimes! Lol

I am sorry to hear that you do not remember USA UP ALL NIGHT when it was on in the 90's. USA UP ALL NIGHT started in 1986 with just Gilbert Gottfried hosting the show on Saturday nights. Then in 1990 they had Caroline Schlitt join the show for almost a year and then got rid of her for Rhonda Shear who hosted the show for 8 years. Well you can if you can help out the effort by letting your friends know about the website and petition. Plus, if you sign the petition it helps out a lot. That is great that you enjoy or asolutely love 80's horror and slasher films! They are the best movies to watch! COOL you are just 3 years younger than my little sister.

I understand that you did not get to to the theaters and see these films like many of the adults. Oh sorry to answer your question about is it like Svengoolies it is to a certain extent but different though. I mean from what I remember is Gilbert and Rhonda would talk about the movies that they were showing, they would show some music videos from groups that you have never even heard of and do skits as well which were funny as hell to watch. Yes a lot of those movies that are on your list to watch are hard to find because the disturbution company only had them come out on VHS or if not they did not have them come out on VHS at all because I have personally ran into that problem myself. I try to collect a lot of the movies that I use to watch on USA UP ALL NIGHT but some of them are hard to get my hands on. Like when I bought this summer the disc set of Hot Cops and Good Girls. I found out about it from someone who was a USA UP ALL NIGHT fan.

I went out and bought the DVD box set because I have not seen part 5 since 1997 and part 6 I did not get to see at all until I bought the DVD box set but I could buy and rent 1 through 4 withouth any problems at all. They showed a lot of great movies to watch. Yeah it happens when people do not take advantage of things when they have the chance to. Have you seen Slumber Party Massacre yet? That is a a great slasher flick to watch! I remember seeing that when I was a teenager with my mom on HBO when I was younger and it is a very good movie. The lead actress in that film went on to do another great cult classic called Sorority Babes In The Slime Bowl O Rama and it was a very good movie to watch. Unfortunately the actress who were in those films took her life.

There are stories out there that she had a alcohol problem and could not find films to do but nobody really knows the full story of the situation. Her name was Robin Stille. When I signed the petition I was the 46th person to sign the petition. Now the petition is up to 16,636 signatures. That is why I am trying to bring a great show like this back to fans like yourself so we can all enjoy the movies together and have a great time you know.

Commander USA is on MySpace! I have him as a friend of mine and I remember watching those films. I thought they were great to watch both Commander USA's Groovy Movies and Saturday Nightmares! Scream Theatre sounds good too! I use to watch USA Network a lot when I was growing up and then as a teenager became hooked on the kind of movies that USA Network showed back in the day and loved it!

There were, of course, far more than that, but i can't think of them all right now.

Does anyone remember those creepy short films USA would run if the show didn't fill up the entire 2 hour time slot? I remember a few that really freaked me out. I haven't heard of them since. One had a man stuck in an attic with a horde of mannequins that either came to life, or he believed that they had. Another was a fisherman who was pulled into the water after picking up an apple with a hook in it.

Who's got the list of titles from 'Up All Night'??

reply

Wikipedia has some of the movies that were shown on USA UP ALL NIGHT but not all of them though. That is another place to look. I did have a list of movies at one time from 1986 until the early 90's but the person that I received all of the movie titles from got rid of the movie titles that were shown on USA UP ALL NIGHT.

There is Youtube that you can see video clips of the shows that we have mentioned to you. The problem is that they may not show any of the movies though. I wished that Rhonda Shear had released from the time that she started until 1998 full segments of USA UP ALL NIGHT but she did not though. Instead they are only video clips of her.
