No Widescreen Version anywhere on this Planet.

I just check all around the world, just to make sure because it would be unlikely that there is a 16:9 Version somewhere else and not available in the US (RC1) but it has occasionally happened. They redid the cover and are selling some Chevy Chase Movies now in 2 or 3 packs. I don't believe that they redid they movie though. Does anyone know if there is a planned HD-DVD Version or technical Info on the Chevy Chase Pack who can tell if that version is 16:9 or the old 4:3?
This movie is such a masterpiece for fans, it should not be treated so bad.
Are there any people out there who would like to write to WB? If we find a bunch of people to do that, they might know that there is actually demand for that item.

Any info or ideas?

You are the first person to reply. I doesn't seem that there is a lot of interest in a real WS Version of that movie.
Same with Grumpy/Grumpier old men..
I was thinking that when they release it on HD DVD or Blue Ray that there will be a 16:9 Version, but then again, there probably won't be a HD DVD Version, because there ain't a lot of people who are gonna buy it.
