how and why the German killed the Jews part 1

First off, do not look at the Holocaust as one event, but as a series of Events, over time, over all of Europe, in many places, in many different cities and towns and suburbs, break it down by country, break it down by year. Then look at the Killers themselves, and don't lump them all together, each had his own reason, his own ambition.
In looking at the Killers, we have to understand that all those who killed Jews killed others besides Jews. And if given the order these same killers would have killed any other group of people. They would have killed Catholics if given the order. It is the not the actions that are significant, it is the Philosophy that must be understood, every genocide is preceded by a horrible thought, because when a Man who has trained to be a soldier or a Gaurdian of the state is given an order his first impulse is to follow it. So it is the conception of the thought, the men who thought it up, the Architects ,that are to blame, They were highly intelligent and they were experts of human nature, and they knew that under the circumstances and horror and fear that comes in Wartime, anything is possible. It was the War they made the Holocaust possible, and in many ways the impulse to destroy the Jewish race may have been the very reason for the War itself, its prime driving force within the Nazi Elite. The European event known as the Holocaust begins with someone thinking a thought so terrible that in most circumstances and most times in history the very utterance of that thought would have seen them locked away or at least shunned from society , but through a confluence of World shaking events, and the rise to power of a Man without a shed of common humanity or compassion in his souls, a man who created the environment for other men to think those thought out loud, insanity became reality in Nazi Germany. It is in the thinking of a terrible thought that the Holocaust becomes reality. When Men in power think up plans of murder, people die.
The Final Solution, begins with Hitler, and even Hitler in the beginning did not want to kill the Jews of Germany, he wanted to deport them. The first true step in the Holocaust is Kristallnacht, a full out attack on Jews all across Germany. A last ditch attempt to get the Jews to leave Germany, and many Jews did leave Germany, but most stayed, and there never really was such an event against Jews in Germany again, it didn't work out like the Germans thought it would, and it made the German nation looked like thugs and hooligans to the rest of the World, plus, many Germans didn't like it, not all Germans were as antisemitic as the Nazis. Women in particular were outraged by what they saw that night.
The SS however were always learning, always improving their methods. The next step in the final solution comes with the Anschluss : the annexation of Austria. The treatment of the Jews on the very day of that invasion Opened the eyes of the SS leadership because it surprised even them, The attack on the Jews of Austria was immediate and though not totally spontaneous, was worse than anything ever seen in Germany. Jews who had been living in peace with their Austrian neighbors and were very prosperous and a huge part of Vienna society and life, were immediately attacked by their neighbors, they were beaten, robbed, women were raped, their stores vandalized. The highest among them status wise, were forced to scrub the streets clean, forced down on their knees with hand brushes-the infamous Austrian scrubbing parties. Doctors, surgeons, judges, lawyers, down on their knees humiliated in front of jeering crowds of onlookers. In fact it got so bad in the days following the Anschluss, that some Jews committed suicide, others fled for their lives, No Jew in Austria the day before the annexation thought it could possible be as bad as it was. Ironicaly the Nazis had to come in to restore order .All of this happened in one of the most cultured and civilized States and Countries in the World.It was an eye opener for everyone involved, people acted on their own initiative to humiliate and harm jews, with very little condemnation from the rest of society. the Idea, the terrible thought ,had been let loose on Austria and the results were barbaric and savage.
This event, more than any other changed the Nazis conception and school of thought about how to deal with the Jews, they surmised that the local population of conquered lands hated the Jews as much as they did, then these people could be used to deal with the Jews and do the Nazis dirty work, and keep german hands clean. that nobody would come out for protecting the Jews in fact, the opposite was true, The Nazis were correct all along, the Jews were hated, wherever they lived, and the populace was just waiting to the constraint of law and order was lifted to get their revenge and payback.Of course it didn't always work out for the Nazis, especially in the west and countries that were neutral or allies of Germany, but in the East, in the lands of the East, lands the Nazis had deemed unworthy of Statehood, it worked out precisely like that, and in those lands:, Latvia, Lithuiania, Estonia, Ukraine, the local population did help the Nazis and many had their own Pogroms and murdered Jews as soon as the German Invaded, but it varied by regions of the country and cities., which is why every state and city must be looked at individually, the Holocaust can not be looked at as one events, it was a series of events.
As i have already stated, the Killers who killed the Jews killed others, but still there is a big leap in the Final Solution when the decision is made to Kill Jewish Women and Children, and to Kill every Jew down to the last in the occupied lands. The Architects of the Holocaust: Himmler and Heydrich had to find people that could kill millions of Women and Children.
A small percentage of the German people were in the SS, as truth be told a small percentage of the German people could kill people the state ordered killed, without trial or law, these were hard men, and every State has such men.but it is with the Killing of Women and Children that the Holocaust becomes so disturbing to the human mind, once you make the decision to kill women and children, all of the same race, down to the last one, innocent human beings who have never committed a crime or transgression, then you have gone to a place that is new to the world, a new state , you have entered a zone of complete madness, where anything is possible, and nothing will be disbelieved, Gas Chambers spring from these designs and worse things. Men who are capable of killing women and children are capable of any cruelty, they are more dangerous and fearsome than any force ever conceived in the wildest imagination, because they go beyond imagination, they go to the point of doing the unthinkable.
We constantly make the mistake in the Holocaust to look at every killer the same, they were varied, some were educated, and some were just indoctrinated soldiers, but the ones who murdered Women and Children, are a special case, and each had a different motivation, some were pure psychopaths, the John Wayne Gacy's or Jeffrey Dahmers of Germany who got a chance through the Vagaries of fate and chance to live out their wildest perverted fantasies, not only with in sight of the law but protected by the law.They acted out their sick fantasies under the guises os State sanctioned murder,many were probably pedophiles, who enjoyed seeing young children naked, and felt a thrill in killing young children all on the pretext of benefitting the state. they used the Mask of Sanity to operate as regular human beings, but they enjoyed what they did, and entered the enterprise with true Zeal. Others wanted to move up the ranks, they had ambition, others knew, it was either this or fight on the Eastern Front, others liked the power it give them, some were indeed virulent anti-Semites .Himmler himself, enjoyed the power of his position, number three man in a country that had conquered all of Europe, and knew what was expected of him, because in the Nazi Hierarchy the number three man is always being pushed by the number four man and everyone below. Heydrich, was nothing more than a psychopath, he may be the most evil man who has ever lived, totally devoid of any conscious or sympathy for other human beings, Heydrich is the Architect of the final solution, it sprang from his mind, no other man on Earth conceived of cattle cars full of jews from all over Europe headed to extermination camps, except him. Still Heydrich had to find Men like himself to do the job on the ground.
Finding the Killers of Women and Children was always the stumbling block, The Nazis themselves detested men who could sink to such levels, and plans were hatched to kill the killer when all was said ad done, as the Nazis didn't want people like this in their society but saw them a as practical component and a very necessary one.
The Naizs learned from the early massacres, the massacres of the Mentally Ill, the retarded, the sick, all of which happened in the German State and were sanctioned by the German State,. They found their 'hard men ',this was an important step in the evolution of the Holocaust, finding all the pieces. It is German nature to learn from mistakes, to improve, just as they would learn from every massacre going forward, they learned who could be counted on to kill under any circumstance, the Germans it seems always learn, they always improve and streamline, they are an industrious people, very serious about their work, this is all part of intrinsic German nature, this German knack for perfecting, for searching for a better way, this bull neck way of thinking, this persevering, the is why the Holocaust was as successful as it was. the Germans left no stone unturned, no trick unplayed. If All the Nations and people of the World were given one special gift, the German people were bestowed with man with many gifts by the creator of the World, the gift of efficiency and pride. Pride in anything they do, no matter how loathsome. and obedience to the State, to the leader .It was the sickest among them that orchestrated the Holocaust, men who murdered for the State and the leader, the ill adjusted, the Sociopaths, and they morphed German pride and efficiency into their Work, and they succeeding beyond their wildest dreams, much to the everlasting despair of the WORLD
