You must not underestimate the power of godan. This is really a film that you can learn from!!
It's like so action packed, that you could have made two films out of this story.
IMDB compares it with The fellowship of the ring. I think not even tolkien would be able to make a story like this!!!!

shareShe was released a couple of years ago on DVD in the UK by Pegasus/ILC Prime. It's fullscreen with a mono sountrack (despite the packaging saying it's stereo) and a small photo gallery as 'bonus features'. But the quality isn't too bad and it can be picked up very cheaply.

Do you know if this is the uncut version? BBFC cut this for theatres in 80's but I could not find any info of this DVD being cut or uncut.
shareIt is available for streaming on Netflix in 1:85 ratio. I had forgotten that I once dug this movie. Other than The Road Warrior, this is the best of the 80's Post-Apocalyptic cycle.
