Time to give your order at the Don't Drop Inn!

Alright, so let's imagine you had to stop at the Don't Drop Inn for Dinner. What would you order? Here is a list of the known items on the menu, courtesy of Muppet Wiki:

Oatmeal (Cold Lumpy, Cod Liver, or Moldy)
Soup (with fly)
Cooked Jell-o
Spaghetti with maple syrup
Meatloaf with marshmallow sauce
Candied clams with French dressing
Cream of garlic soup with maraschino cherries
Roast beef with butterscotch and anchovies
Ham with donuts
Oatmeal sauce

And of course we all know about the tossed salad.

Kind of hard to choose, wouldn't you say? I might go for the spaghetti myself. What about the rest of you?

Ham with donuts sounds like something my girlfriend would eat for breakfast! (or lunch, dinner, snack, anytime really...)

I think I would try the meatloaf with marshmallow sauce, candied clams with french dressing, or the ham with donuts. I would LOVE the roast beef if they would hold the butterscotch, I HATE butterscotch!

Shanak41, this is a cute and creative topic. For dinner, meatloaf with marshmallow sauce sounds strangely appealing, and ham and donuts would be good for breakfast. The tossed salad is funny, but hardly substantial since you end up wearing it! If it were offered as a regular dish, then I would get it with the French dressing, and if the butterscotch were available on its own, in the form of candy, then I would get that for dessert. What exactly is oatmeal sauce? Does that imply that the oatmeal is destroyed with something disgusting like dishwater or water fished out of a tank in a bathroom?

Aw. shucks. Thanks, tm. Earlier, I stated that the spaghetti and maple syrup was what I'd choose, but thinking further on it, the meat loaf with marshmallow sauce and ham with donuts dishes might be worth a taste as well. I don't think they'd rearrange those other things you mention, though. It's a grouch restaurant, remember. I don't think they make customer satisfaction their number one priority.

I would take the roast beef dish if they held the anchovies myself. But the thing is, I doubt if they'd actually do that . Remember, this is a grouch restaurant, so my guess is they don't care so much about customer satisfaction. On the other hand, if I were to ask for extra anchovies, or you for extra butterscotch, perhaps things would be different. Then they may give us none at all just to make us mad. Then the joke would be on them. Just a thought.
