soundtrack

the secret admirer soundtrack is, by far, one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever ... however, strangely, it is available NOWHERE!! making matters worse, most of the songs -- including kim wilde's 'the touch', nik kershaw's 'you might' & jan hammer's 'finale', don felder's 'you've got a part of me' & van stephenson's 'no secrets' -- are not available on any cd or through itunes. anybody have any idea how i can get my hands on this music??? it all brings back such great memories of the 80s & my own high school days. thanx!!

Van Stephenson's "No Secrets" is available on his "Suspicious Heart" CD. You can buy this CD new for about $19 on CDnow.com. Nik Kershaw's "You Might" is available on an import CD called "The Riddle", about $20 new, same source. I don't think the entire soundtrack for Secret Admirer was ever released on CD.

i grew up watching this movie & i loved the songs. my favorite was always "i'm leaving it up to you" by timothy b. schmit ... but i was maybe a year old when it came out so, lol. i actually bought the cassette two years ago off ebay. i could never find the cd, so i settled for the cassette. i always search for the cd though because it'd be nice to have. if you search hard you can find some of the songs through limewire, i found a bunch of them a while back & put them on a cd incase my ipod crashed.

I recently picked up the soundtrack on vinyl off of Ebay for less than $10. I couldn't believe after all these years that I found it. I also agree that Van Stephenson's 2 CD's Righteous Anger and Suspicious Heart are 2 awesome CD's that were terribly overlooked in the 80's. They are well worth picking up if you can find them. RIP Van Stephenson.
