No Wonder Kelly Preston Felt Like A Cradle Robber

There's a scene where Kelly Preston tells C. Thomas Howell that she felt like a cradle robber after kissing him and exposing her breasts. I thought that scene was strange because they're both high school students. And now I'm learning that C. Thomas Howell was 17 or 18 when he made the movie and Kelly Preston was 22. In other words, C. Thomas Howell was barely legal in the two sexual/nude scenes he did with an adult Kelly Preston, and they were making a joke about it.

Has C. Thomas Howell ever spoken about it? Kelly Preston was one of the hottest actresses in the 1980's and he got to do all these great scenes while barely legal and probably not very experienced either.
