Just (re)discovered this movie over the past week or so...

And I think I may have a new favorite Christmas movie! I've read some of the other posts here, and I do see what you mean about how it seems to be two different movies thrown together - Heck, I previously had vague memories of different scenes from it, and didn't even realize I was only remembering one movie! But I don't think that makes it bad, really, because both halves are great!

The origin story in the first half is absolutely timeless, and the second half is the perfect example of your good old eighties corporate villain show. Then there's the cute kids and the awesome flying car. And of course, the musical montage separating the two is absolutely beautiful!

This movie should be up there with the other timeless Christmas classics, sad that it's so obscure.
